Public Information Officer

The Public Information Officer reports to the City Manager and is responsible for informing the public of city services and objectives. At the same time, the public information officer seeks two-way communication with the community and solicits feedback regarding how to better serve the public.

Some of the communication methods currently employed include:

  • The City of Starke’s website,
  • The City’s Facebook page,, and other social media platforms
  • Public information coordination for police and fire
  • Regular news releases
  • Brochures, fliers, and other print materials
  • Participation in city and community outreach events
