The City of Starke has a position open for a full-time meter reader. This position has excellent benefits including medical insurance, sick leave, vacation leave and retirement. The starting salary is $15.00 per hour.
The meter reader is responsible for reading electric, gas and water meters and recording readings using a hand-held computer. A high school diploma or GED equivalent, valid Florida driver’s license and minimum of two years experience working with the public is required.
