Administration - Responsible for all city operations. Key members include the City Operations Manager, Ricky Thompson, rthompson@cityofstarke.org and City Clerk, Linda W. Johns ljohns@cityofstarke.org
City Clerk - Responsibility for all the duties as prescribed by the city charter to include all the functions related to financial management of the City's funds. Utility billing is generated from the city clerks' office. All billing questions should be directed to this office.
Code Enforcement - The Code Enforcement office is responsible for responding to all issues relating to the violations of the city codes. Officer, Mark Williams 904-964-5027
Electric Dept. - The Electric Department provides safe and reliable service to its customers. Supervisor, Danny Griffis
Fire Dept.-The Fire Department is responsible for the safety and welfare of the citizens of Starke. The department has an interlocal agreement with Bradford County and responds to all calls in a timely manner. Chief, Tom Rowe 911 or 904-964-7116
Gas Dept. - Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the city's gas lines to ensure continued safe service. Supervisor, Jay Hodge
Human Resources - The City Clerk's office is responsible for maintaining the City's Personnel Policies and Procedures.
Parks & Recreation - There are three (3) recreation facilities located in Starke. See homepage for Cassel's Academy information and Concerned Citizens activities.
Planning & Zoning - Bradford County Building and Zoning office is responsible for the administration coordination of city issues associated with zoning, building permits and assists the City council with community redevelopment. 904-966-6213
Police Dept. - The Police department is responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of all applicable laws. Chief Jeff Johnson 904-964-5400
Public Works - Responsible for maintenance and expansion of the City's infrastructure. The Public Works department maintains all public property within the city and are responsible for the upkeep of it. Supervisor, Jay Hodge
